Paint brake calipers on JLUR or is it too flashy?

i am debating if I should paint calipers or put red covers on my JLR.

There’s no debate. Paint them. Caliper covers always look tacky and pretentious and they don’t do your brakes any favors by retaining braking heat and dust. Paint.

I highly recommend paint. Going deeper, I DO NOT recommend using aerosols even though they are easy, they come out trashy.

IMO painting stock calipers is tacky. If they were performance brakes or Brembos or something, they'd already be painted.

I've owned many cars that didn't have performance brakes and I never painted the calipers for the reason I stated above - I think it looks tacky. It's something teenage me might do if I owned a Civic with a big spoiler and a bodykit.

paint them and the brackets, used two stage eastwoods, looks better than rusty calipers and brackets. actually wish they came powder coated like the huge brembos on my SRT
