Back in June I started getting the "Parking Sensor not available. Wipe sensors" message. Since the Jeep is parked in the garage, I suppose it's possible dust covered the sensors. I wiped them off and it's fine for a short time. It will flash, turn off while driving (turning back on the sensors). After parking at my destination and getting back in to depart everything is fine for the entire trip back home. There may be an intermittent short somewhere, but I have no idea where to look. The sensors themselves seem fine.

Has anyone else had this issue? Were you able to resolve it?

Thanks!

Can I ask, have you changed tire/wheel size? Replaced a flat using the rear mounted spare?

Nope. Only rotated once at the dealer - back in March/April. No changes otherwise.

Sounds like you are having a similar issue to me. I get the error intermittently. 2024 JLUR with XR package, new in June of this year.
I have seen others ask about tire sensors or changing tires, and wonder what the thought behind that being linked is. Some interference with TPMS?
@JJ_WA - From your profile it looks like you also have the XR package. Wondering if that has anything to do with it?

Not a sensor reflection issue then. Are you running the dual battery setup (one for the ESS)? Just trying to eliminate the easiest issues that some have had.

Wheel weights and TPMS sensors have caused issues for some. Not all. So clocking the wheel at times helps. I guess that is more or less a reflection issue with the park assist sensors.

I have the eTorque engine. Hopefully it's not a battery issue (already).

I don't know if it's XR related, but certainly could be Safety package-related. I think we would need more folks indicate they are also experiencing the issue.

Thanks @Johnny B. I was wondering if tire size or steel bumpers may be contributing

just looked out the door to check. Valve on the spare tire and hence TPMS is at approx 7 o’clock position

It happens, and it is unavoidable. However, eliminating the secondary battery (the right way), and disabling the ESS is a step in the right direction. Let's be honest, one battery for everything makes life a little easier.

One quick way to know. Look at the mounted spare, look for the wheel weights and/or TMPS (valve stem) and rotate the spare on the spare carrier. Try to clock them up and away from the bumper sensors. That's just a little time and no money to try that route.

@Johnny B Hit send too soon earlier and edited to add that the valve is at about 7 o’clock position. will look at the wheel weights and try your test when I get a chance.

I have only a single 12V battery with the 3.6 liter eTorque. There is the 48v battery under the vehicle, but it's not the double battery system for the regular ESS.

I rotate spare tire one lug hole CW then drive. Find the best rotation till issue clears.

There's an update for this. Had to do it on my 24 392. The sensors still flake out sometimes but it's better than before. I suspect we'll get another update in the future to fully fix the issue
