Symptom: one out of maybe every 10 times I engage the parking brake it makes a “clunk” when I reach the point where it’s fully engaged. It feels like it skips the last click or two. It holds the vehicle just fine.

I’m familiar with how to adjust looseness in the parking brake, as outlined here:

https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...n-parking-brake-lever-loose-or-rattles.10876/

I’m also familiar with how to adjust the mechanism at the wheels.

My issue is that I don’t know which adjustment is needed. I may just check/adjust both places, but am posting in case someone already ran into this.

Advice?

Same issue with mine, but I haven't taken the time to figure it out. Just too many other things going on and it's only a minor nuisance.

I'm following to see what feedback you get :like:
