The dealer had it painted by a local body shop they use for this type of warranty work.Did they do the ceramic coating or did you have to do it? Reason I ask is there is no guarantee the fix will be permanent and certainly not covered under an additional warranty.
I had the ceramic coating done by a detailer I use. It’s expensive but it works much better than waxing. The ceramic coating creates a sacrificial layer on top of the clear coat. Car stays clean much longer than with wax. Water just beads up and rolls off.
