2022 JLURD Bright White (ordered 10/23/21)
Here is the information on my order:
Order placed on 10/23/2021 with Roberson in Salem for a JLURD fully loaded with almost every option available.
Rec'd VIN on 11/24/2021 - last six are 109782 (I do not think the dealership placed my order when the order banks opened up on 10/16/21. I think they waited closed to the date I got my VIN.)
On 1/11/2022, sent message to JC and their reply stated my Jeep has been sequenced for production, it should be entering the build very soon.
On 1/31/2022, I received and email from Jeep with an estimated delivery date of 3/3/2022.

I have not been able to get any type of information out of the dealership other than, it's been shipped, which I already knew. My sales guy is pretty much useless. The dealership should have a better idea as to when it will arrive, at least according to what I read here on other posts. I would not recommended ordering from Roberson. I wish I had ordered from Peterson in Nampa, ID.

I bought my Gladiator for Roberson last year. I bought off the lot and their service was pretty good. I went back to them when we wanted to order the Wrangler and they wanted to charge me over MSRP. I told them not a chance. I ended up ordering with Lithia, in Eugene, and are paying invoice plus a doc fee. Lithia's communication has also been pretty terrible, but when I email the salesman he does answer after a day or two.

I ordered a fully loaded 4 door Willy's on 11/22 and received the VIN about a week later. Last 6 are 122575. My build sheet showed up on Crypto this morning. Dealer had given me a ship date of 2/28 last week. I am hoping to have it here by April.

When it comes time to order again, I will probably go with Gupton. The prices are great and it gives me a great excuse to visit Tennessee.

I’ve bought two Jeeps from Roberson. They had 73 new Wranglers in stock when I bought my JL in 2019, and they were competitive on pricing, but that was pre-Covid.

Lithia is notorious. Maybe they have turned over a new leaf. I wish you the best.

We bought our previous 2 Wranglers at Lithia with no issues. Hoping there are no issues with this purchase when it gets here.

With the price increases over the last couple of months, the price I locked in for my Wrangler is pretty good. Roberson's doesn't seem to get too many Rubicons on their lot. At least that is what I have noticed the times I have been there. There main Wrangler now appears to be the 4xe.

I think they do their best to anticipate the market and then stock to match that, if the vehicles are available. When I bought my last Rubicon there, and when I was shopping for my brother’s Rubicon, that was their most common trim level, but that was before COVID sales and inventory challenges. The last couple times I’ve driven by their lot they had fewer than thirty new Wranglers in stock, and most were lower trim levels. On the other hand, the only Rubicons I’ve seen at Lithia in the last few months were Gladiators, and there were only two of those and a couple other lower trim Wranglers in stock. We had the same experience when we were shopping for our Grand Cherokee. Nothing but lower trim levels at Lithia, so we found one in Corvallis.

If you want to stay closer to Eugene, the Jeep inventory is almost always better at Cottage Grove Jeep just 25 miles south. They’re not as good as Roberson’s but they usually have at least two or three times what Lithia has in stock, and they’ll have a mix of trim levels. Also, like Robersons, you can find their inventory detail on line, including the Moroni stickers.

I received an update from my sales rep this week. He stated that my Rubicon will be at the railyard in Portland on 3/12 and then shipped to the dealership from there. I am hoping I will be able to pick her up by the 19th.

Mine has now been built and is in shipping with no ETA. Maybe there will be room on the train with yours. ??

Has anyone else received their Jeep yet? I just picked mine up last night. Found out from my salesman last night that my Jeep was actually one of the first built in December, it just took forever for it to be shipped. Seems that is the longest, most frustrating part of the whole process. Here is my baby!

We picked up ours Monday evening. Shipping wait was shorter than I thought, from build to delivery was about a month. It only sat in the Toledo for a couple weeks before it hit the rails.
