Still has to pass the House and the Governor.
The senate passed the bill not sure why you think the governor needs to still approve. It's done but still requires an actual date of effect

Unfortunately, there are certain areas around here where they do pull you over and ticket. Really hoping this passes.
YEP, COPS will do anything to NOT ENFORCE REAL CRIME. Yep, got pulled over in PA. Cop lecturers me for what seemed like 30 min. Finally, he finished and I asked him why would he waste time when CRIMES are being committed, Rapes, robberies, and Murders and he is harassing me cause I don't have my removable doors on. Then I asked WHY, pull me over for some silly reason when I have TEXAS plates on it and I am just passing thru? Well I did not know. Well what did you think? Mounntain Bike on the front of my Jeep, Scuba Gear in the back, Bikini Top, and its August.

LOL, then. he says: Well where are going? Oh, I am going to Key West. LOL KEY WEST? You are going in the wrong direction, you are heading N. Well I am on the way to Maine and over to Old Quebec City in Canada, then S to Atlanta, Orlando, Ft Lauderdale and then Key West.

His head is spinning: How long is your vacation? 8 weeks!

I've been doorless from mid-june to mid-august every summer and I get nothing but smiles and waves from cops when I pass by.

Time for a civics refresher. Whether at the federal or state level, bills have to pass both the house and the senate and be signed by the governor (or president) before they become law. In some states bills may become law with no action by the governor after a certain amount of time.

Very helpful, thanks. Does that mean it's making it legal or illegal?
"The Pennsylvania Senate has voted to allow vehicles like Jeeps and Broncos without any doors on them to drive on state roads.

Under the bill, those vehicles would still be required to have standard safety equipment such as side view mirrors and seatbelts, even while driving doorless.

The legislation now heads to the House for a vote."
