Overlanding in Texas

We spent the night in Fredericksburg about 6 weeks ago. Spent about 3+ hours driving the route and only did about 1/4.

Thanks. Good to know. I guess I'll have to do some research on the best route to take. I wanted to drive about 5 hours.

Ok, first trip was kind of a fail. The longhorn football game turned out to be exciting for my family, so we got off to a late start. It was beautiful out there, so I will definitely be back. Here is a picture from the very beginning of the trail.

That does look nice. Big Bend was awesome but it's waaay too far to do often.

Article was spot on, Texas is huge but it's hard to find dirt to drive on without risking getting shot at...

Dont tempt me with a good time... :P

We went to Sam Houston National Forest several weeks ago and spent some time on any road my Jeep would fit down and had a great day, not exactly off-roading or wheeling but had a great day
