Hello, I have a 2020 JL Rubicon 2.0 with turbo. My jeep is over heating 242 to 246 degrees without throwing a code anywhere for dealer to fix it. Does anyone else have this problem?

I don't know why I'm getting it other then jeep engineering says its ok and to run it.. Me knowing it's bad and not stupid I don't want to blow up coming home from work. I'm wondering if its more then just me..

Is the heat gauge into the red zone? I’ve no idea what degree F is usual, but that sounds pretty normal to me. Is this a higher than usual reading for you? Does it only happen under extreme conditions?

Does anyone “know” what the “normal” range is? With the pressure cap I know it’s above normal boiling temps but know exactly where. Anybody?

Mine usually runs below 220F. Climbing hills it can go to a little over 230F but the electric fan usually kicks in and keeps it from going higher. You can use the offroad pages to watch radiator and oil temps to see the fan in action. Even on a very steep dirt/rock hill climb I've never seen it reach 240F.

I had an overheating problem coming back from hunting (2019 JLUR 2.0). The temp gauge turned red. Pulled over and turned off the engine and waited for the engine cooled off. When I started out again I was only able to go about 40 yard before the temp gauge went red again. Thank goodness for AAA I had to be hauled 87 miles to home. Towed to dealer and they found a leak and had to replace a pipe and gasket. Still smells of coolant but temperature seems ok. I would like to know what the normal operating temp is. On the gauge it goes back and forth from 190-235
