So the weather in Scotland has turned wintry in the past couple of weeks and I've been making full use of the heated seats and steering wheel in my JL. I've set them up via the Uconnect system to switch on automatically when the Jeep is started and the outside temp is below +5 degrees C.
What I've found is that this works fine if the engine is cold, but if I get back into the vehicle say a couple of hours later and the engine block is still warm, the outside thermometer gives a false reading until you actually start driving e.g. +12 degC showing on the dash when you know it's actually below freezing outside. It ticks down in a minute or two to show the correct reading, but it means the heated seat/wheel don't come back on. 1st world problem I know
Anyone else noticed this?
