Just ordered one. Way high priced, but the best often is, so I bit the bullet.
It appears to be exactly what I need.
The company voicemail inbox is full. They don’t return emails.
It’s on backorder till May 6.
Normally I would not order given those red flags, but I really want it, ASAP. It’s camping season!
I paid through PayPal on my CC, so have recourse, and haven’t heard a bad thing about Outback, so I pulled the trigger.
Anyone had good or bad experience with these folks?
I don’t want to receive it in September.

I have one. Flawless fit and finish. Still one of my favorite mods and what I consider to be the best of breed when it comes to JK or JL tailgate tables, the Trailgater from Outback Adventure Products comes standard with the bamboo cutting board, I changed mine to their HDPE cutting board as it's more knife friendly.

Can confirm, am super impressed with the fit and finish. No rattles and has worked great so far.

It was just under a month to get mine, and as mentioned above, it really is the best you can get. Well worth it even given the higher price vs other options.

Got mine several months ago. Absolutely love it. Like everyone else has mentioned it is a quality product, no rattles after several thousand miles and some off road time. You made a good choice imho.

They are a small, solid company, it's worth the wait. Here's the easy install for when yours arrives:

Step one. Remove the OEM trim panel.

Step two. Add the included clips and attach the table to the tailgate with screws and one large Phillips head bolt seen here.

Step three. Enjoy easy tailgating, and no need for carrying a bulky camp table anymore. Because if this isn’t enough table space, you’re bringing too much crap with you!

Meant to update. Talked to owner yesterday. Nice guy. This shipment is NOT oversold, so all backordered Trailgaters will be shipped next week. Can’t wait!

Mine was back ordered a week or two when I ordered and I expected a month or so but it showed up 3 days after they said they would be shipping again. Expensive...yes! But worth it, very well made and easy install. I was surprised how sturdy it is even with the cutting board removed so have a helper or something to hold it up while you bolt it on.
