Ordering question

This is where I got a bit uneasy....I asked if the final price I saw on the screen was the final price, he said that I will not get the final price until the jeep arrives. There was no contract....we went over the options and that was it. Thank you for your feedback

This can be normal. Incentives at time of order may not apply at time of delivery. So I would ask if the pre-incentive price is locked in if you do get in contact, with only incentives subject to change (and their impact on taxes).
I’ve always had to place a deposit though, and sign something. The deposit was refundable upon sale of the vehicle if I decided I didn’t want it or changed my mind about the price upon delivery. Not sure how standard that was.

Pricing would be as follows:
We require a $1000 nonrefundable deposit on all sold orders.

6% - $52251 (standard order pricing below factory invoice)
7% - $51695 (standard order pricing; Must have Tread Lightly
Control #)
8% - $51140 (standard order pricing; Must have Tread Lightly
Control # AND dealer arranged financing)

We require a $1000 nonrefundable deposit on all sold orders.
All prices are plus $499 doc fee and $7.50 for a 30 day
temporary tag to get you back home. These prices do not include any applicable
sales tax that may or may not have to be collected depending on where you live.
Must be a member of Tread Lightly for 30 days prior to obtaining a Control # so
I recommend becoming a member as soon as you order the vehicle to be safe.

Also take a look at the spreadsheet on the forum. Remember the discount these dealerships give are off of INVOICE. 6 to 8% off of invoice is like 10 to 12% off of sticker MSRP.
