Ordering question???

So the dealer tells me that my JL will ship in 4/21, but want deliver until mid may. I live in SC. Why does it take ove 20 days to deliver?

Perhaps what is meant is that the vehicle will leave the factory on 4/21.

Shipping time is lengthy depending on where in the country you are. They use trains and it isn’t the fastest. 2-3weeks should be expected from leaving the factory to getting to the dealer's lot.

I ordered my JLUR on 13 April 18 and there were factory options for stickers but the pictures were unavailable. Does anyone know about these factory sticker options?

From what I can tell, when a dealer or Jeep chat says ship date, they actually mean build date.
When they issue an ETA is what you need to look for, but those get moved around a lot.

Most Jeeps are delivered by train. Car-hauling train cars are given the lowest priority. Your car can sit for weeks on a siding until the railroad gets around to assigning an engine. I know this personally...my 2015 Mustang sat for more than two weeks near Chicago.
