Ordering a new (paper) window sticker?

I don't know why this is important to me... I bought a new Jeep. It was a sold factory order and the guy backed out before it was delivered. The window sticker says "This vehicle was built especially for [Some guy I don't know]" Well, dude, it's mine and I bought it new from the dealer, and I kinda don't want your name on MY window sticker.

Honestly, it's not a big deal, but I keep these things. IF there's a way to order one without his name on it, I'd probably pay money - not too much, though. Do we know anyone who can get these for us, or should I try to work with the dealer?

In four years on these forums I thought I had seen it all! But hey, I get it. I kept my window sticker with my name on it.

I’m gonna say probably not from jeep, but you might be able to get a replica made. It’s going to be a nightmare to google it though because “window sticker” just means any sticker that goes on a window

I doubt you cam get a new factory window sticker, but you can get, download and/or print your window sticker. Go to https://www.jeep.com/hostd/windowsticker/getWindowStickerPdf.do?vin=[add your VIN].
The page is giving errors now, but it'll work again and you will get a copy of your VIN's window sticker with no name.

No worries, I'm not having a Menty B over a window sticker, it's just a nice to have with a brand new vehicle. I've got one, it just has some other dude's name on it.

Mine's been sitting on my front seat for months all folded up (think the car prep guy did that) and though I remembered hearing about a personalized name on the window sticker around here, I just assumed it wasn't on mine since it wasn't on the PDF version. I'm gonna have to go look now.. and maybe actually put it somewhere.

Don’t do it ! Leave it in the Jeep. After leaving it in the Jeep for over 1.5 years I took it out and put it Somewhere Safe in the house. Somewhere Safe can’t be located, and I have searched. The 15 GC’s window sticker is still Safely in it.

Us boring folks still have these things called file cabinets. They have drawers and you put these things called folders inside of them. One for Jeep stuff- receipts, window stickers, important Jeep documents, service records. One for tax forms for the few that still come on paper. Try it, you might like it...

I’m not falling for that. Actually, Vehicle/ MH /MC paperwork, manuals, etc are in one place, where I know I put it safely between two others. But obviously I don’t know sh!t since I can’t find it and would have put it no where else. This getting old sux, old timers disease must be setting in. Oh yea— my wife is good at straightening and cleaning out the file cabinet. It’s the last place I put anything important to me. ?

You ain't joking buddy! Thought I put my title and letter of loan satisfaction from my last ride in the filing cabinet at home and literally spent several weeks looking (and re-looking) through everything. Surprisingly enough, I found the window sticker, original paperwork, warranty card for the factory tires and receipts for everything (incl. every single tank of gas for over 10 years) and nada.

Never did find it and had to pay for a reissue from the state. Should of just left it on my desk, buried in a stack of random papers and then I surely would've found it

If you get a carfax most time it has the sticker. But it may still have dudes name on it worth a try. Or some white out

You should be able to access it here: put in your vin after the =... and then copy link

most of the time, the PDF will not have a name on it... so you can take the PDF file and have it printed at a local office supply shop.

They are called “Monroney“ stickers. There’s a business that sells replacements. I’ve never used this service, but it’s worth a look.
