Ordered New Jeep as Replacement

Hello all:
This is my first post here as I was interested in the wealth of ordering information all of you have provided. I bought an Ocean Blue 2020 Unlimited the end of April but a month later it developed a strange problem of the Rear Parksense sensors would shut off and come back on all by themselves and would throw an error on the console. I have to say the dealer tried to figure out why it kept doing it, and I had FCA get involved too for help. Well, FCA was no help and gave me a bunch of excuses and crap so the dealer offered to swap it out. I couldn’t find anything I wanted on the lot with the end of 2020 production so the dealer ordered me a 2021 pretty much the same as I had, but in the new Snazzberry. The only difference was I got cloth seats as I’m not a fan of the leather, and really liked the turbo engine I had so I got that. Other than that its got the remote proximity entry, cold weather, premium audio with the 8 inch screen, safety group, and the hard top.

All I have at this time is the preview sheet with the specs and the 4EA sold vehicle code on it. It’s got the BA code on it. I should go see the dealer for an update on it. I ordered it last Saturday (15th I think?)

Anyway, thanks for reading, and I hope I get it soon enough as I‘ve got this little bitty FIAT loaner and I technically don’t own a car right now.

Welcome to the wait! Check out the sticky post for 2021 build info. It will have a link to cryptostickers for you to track progress. If you skip to the last few pages, you’ll see 2021s are being built and stockpiled for shipping at this point. Some suggest they may be shipping within the next week or 2. As others have stated, build order is complete random, so patience will be your friend until you get that call from the dealer. I ordered mine on 6/27 and it still has no build sticker while others ordered much later and theirs is ready to go. The color is nice. I hope everything works in it too lol....

Like I said, the one before had an issue with the rear sensors. I'm no auto tech or electrician but I'll bet a wire got crimped or folded or something during manufacturing. That would be a tough fix to find and either fix or run a new harness...

I'd be happy with manual windows and locks...less gadgets the better IMO.
The backup camera is nice, sensors annoy me even when they work properly.
