Hi everyone I wanted to share my experience with oracle lighting in case you want to do business with them. About 2 years ago i bought the Halo lights for my jeep. They worked fine till last week when one of them stopped working. After some investigating looks like the Halo driver went bad. I tried to order a replacement but at checkout it said this is only for dealers for regular customers you need to go to their other website. So I went to their other website & looks like they don't sell them. So I contacted the company to see how I could get one. They said sorry we don't sell the drivers by themselves you have to buy the Halo light to get the driver. So they want me to spend 120$ to get a brand new light & driver when all i need is the 20$ driver. I looked online found a few vendors that sell them but when I contacted them none had the right item in stock. Halo lighting didn't even want to give any information on the driver so I can buy another similar item that would work. If anyone knows where I can get one please let me know. Thanks and here is the picture of the driver I need

But when you try to buy it: "This website is for Authorized ORACLE Lighting dealers.
If you are not a dealer yet, please fill out our online application. If you are a dealer without a login, please contact your sales rep. If you are a retail customer, please purchase on OracleLights.com instead."
I only made a half ass effort I guess

What is the difference between "PLASMA" Resistor and load Resistor?

@ORACLElights can you help? If so, I can use help on a headlight that works half the time.
Why don't you simply PM them or call customer support, instead of asking in someone else’s thread? Do you expect Oracle to respond on a thread that’s bad mouthing them?

Thanks you for all your help Terry. Just a heads up the VP of marketing from oracle just reached out to me. She offered to send me the driver replacement for 19.99 plus shipping.

Let me apologize @ORACLE Terry. I can see where it could sound like I’m bad mouthing you guys and I will own that. That was not my intent. I was simply attempting to go to a source that could help. Now that I know that I can PM you directly, I’ll figure out how to do that and speak with you through that channel. Thank you and Oracle for the assistance to the OP.

Just wanted to do a quick update. Once my driver stopped working I decided to run the Halo light without one. Big mistake the halos run so hot without the driver that a few leds burned out & the Halo itself had deformation & melting from the heat. To my surprise oracle not only sent me a new driver but also a brand new halo for only 19.99. Could not be happier with that results. Thanks again Terry & Oracle for coming through for me.
