Northwest Adventure Park is a blast. It's a small park but has everything from mild to extreme. We have a blast out there.

Looks like fun! I hate mud but love water crossings. Go figure, right? I've never been to NWOHV, and I'm only 45min-ish from it in FTW. I may consider going tomorrow or probably Sunday if anyone will be out there. I'm open to giving it a try for the day. I can definitely think of worse ways to spend a weekend. Plus I'll get the badge out of it, which is worth the trip in my book. My plan tomorrow is to go buy and install the Badlands Apex 12K winch. I'm running into issues finding a suitable winch plate tho. Evidently the Badlands Universal Channel plate is garbage and not very compatible with the JL's. So I gotta find another one.

It's a blast out there. Some one from our group members are likely out there. Bridgeport mud is the worst in the world so I would hesitate to go the day after a rain. Not sure how much they got but what we got here in FTW would be enough to make it into a snot show. I may go tomorrow though however, I am trying to take it easy since I am about to sell my wheels and tires. Oh, and I avoid mud any chance I can. Some of the innocent looking mud puddles at Northwest will swallow your Jeep. Go around all that you can especially in the Quarry.

What bumper are you dealing with? If it's stock you need a complete winch kit, I use a warn lit on both Jeeps stock bumpers but there are several good ones. The Badland does have a large control box which may be tight but everything else should bolt right up. Give me more details on the issue.

Our club goes on 1 trip per month, the first 2 of the year will be local so join us.

I ended up getting the Warn OEM bumper winch plate kit from 4WP yesterday as they had it in stock. I installed everything yesterday. Turned out pretty good if I do say so myself, even tho it took me like 6 hours. Updated pics on my profile. I update every time I mod something, so its always up to date.

I live in Arizona, and it seems for me at least that OnX is better for just scouting random trails that appear on restricted State land/Private Land/etc.

A lot of trails out here that are just an hour or so away from me that I want to go to on my lunch (I work from home) don't appear on Trails Offroad, but they are easy to find on OnX. I've yet to use either one very heavily, but for the popular trails out here TOR seems to be better with looking at waypoints, landmarks, seeing camping spots, etc.

OnX seems to be better for just grabbing a random trail in an area I might be in and indicating if I can actually go on it without Tribal Police or a state fine following me.

It is a learning curve, but once you figure out the legend and where you are, it seems pretty easy to use and have it track your journey.

I think it's a tossup honestly depending what you want out to get out of them.

AllTrails is great for following the trailheads once I arrive to my off-road destinations...but I'm an avid backpacker and have used it for years so I think I'm biased on that one haha.
