hi everyone
I am going back to stock ko2. The tire guy suggested I get different wheels and nit use the negative offset XD rims that I have. He said the vehicle is engineered to keep the tires a certain way and that I should go back to factory offset or as close as possible.
i have negative 12 offset. I would think I should be able to use these with stock tires without any issue?
I don’t want to have to buy another set of rims if it can be avoided.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
You'll be fine, if you were running real large/wide/heavy tires that extra offset would put more load on the wheel bearings which are pretty rugged anyhow. The stock K02s aren't a heavy oversized tire so you're good to go!

That's what I figured. Thanks. I don't want to buy another set of wheels.

I had +12 originally then when added the Rancho Lift they require a -12 or better so I switched to new 12 Fuels wheels, so you are future proofed with your -12. it is the positive offsets that are problematic. You can also add more negative offset with spacers as well

Will i have any issues airing down an 11.5 wide tire on a 9" rim? I was told i should shoot for an 8 or 8.5 rim. The 9 is too wide to air down. Not going crawling, only on the beach, but don't want to get stuck.

AS +12 will be tight but you should be fine, You can always add spacers if needed.

Actually I have -12 offset. It’s far out past the fenders. I probably should get different rims but don’t feel like spending right now if I don’t have to.
I was just wondering if the rims are too wide for the stock tires
