Took a ride up mount rosa this morning. Let me know if anyone ever wants to hit Rosa or baldy.

I’m still new so taking it easy. I see china wall is rated difficult on trailsoffroad, would I be ok in a stock jlur?

China Wall:

Technical Rating: 5-5
(DIFFICULT )

Rocky or undulated road surface. Potential rocks and/or tree stumps less than 24" tall and/or vertical ledges less than 24" tall and/or near vertical ledges or waterfalls less than 54" inches. Tire placement becomes more difficult. Can be steep and off-camber.

Description
The trail is dirt and rock all the way through with some obstacles along the way. Some of the obstacles that are not bypassable and they are noted in this writeup. The rocky inclines and descents are the largest reason for this trail’s rating. If you don’t go slow and follow the right lines, you will hit bottom on this one. This trail gets very little snow in the winter and as such means it will be one of the first seasonal closures to open in the spring if the winter allows.

I did Chinaman Gulch in my stock JLUR last December. Scraped and crawled my way through, bypassed some stuff, but made it with a tiny bit of "trail damage" You can hardly tell.

Technical Rating: 6-8
(DIFFICULT - SEVERE)

Rocky or undulated road surface. Rocks less than 84" tall and/or vertical ledges less than 72" tall and/or near vertical ledges or waterfalls less than 14' foot. Tire placement not good. Can be steep and off-camber.

Most of the obstacles on the China Wall trail have bypasses.

I’d be in! Very little free time but would rather opt out of something than not know about it. It’d be some combination of my boys and I unless we can make a date night out of a run, as I have been known to do. Been in CO for a long time, but grew up in the South. We spend a lot of time on the trails and/or camping up in the mountains. I’m in Castle Rock.

A small group is going to run T-33 Plane Crash Saturday morning. Meeting at the Camp Dick pull off of hwy 72 at 10:00am. We will wait until 10:15am to head out.
I would also be open to still running Chinawall Sunday if there is interest.

Where is the pull off? Near Nederland instead of Allenspark?
Sorry Krondor, I didn't see this until today. Sorry you missed it.

All good. I tagged along with another group that then disbanded about half way there after one was called back to work.

I'll go again sometime. As it was, the pup and I had time out of the house.

Would y’all allow a JT Gladiator to join you on a wheeling trip?
