First of all, thank you. Yes, this is another lighting threat and I'm sure if I dug through the thousands of other threads on here I might be able to find my answer. So thank you for indulging my lazy ass.

'23 4xe with steel bumpers, sky one-touch top, front trail cam, Warn winch (future), and a wife who thinks she wants to be able to lower the windshield.

So, this is what I don't want.
- Lights that block the front trail camera.
- Lights that keep the front windshield from being able to be lowered (yes, I know whatever you are going to say, but this is a must for my wife at this point) A - No plans for a roof rack (ruins the point of the one touch top

I know I'm painting myself into quite the corner, so I'm looking for some thoughts thinking/ applications that are outside of the box. Also, KC, Rigid and Baja Design seem to be the three brands of lights that seem to have my attention. Are there any other brands that are nicer or better or more obscure that I should be looking at? I don't want to spend money just to spend money, but I also don't want to put War-Mart brands on something that costs this much.

TIA

Hella 500/700 lights are less expensive and provide more than enough light for most people.

Part number 2215428 is a bumper mounted light bracket. I'd probably go that route unless you're getting an aftermarket bumper/winch plate for the Warn, then pretty much any bumper is going to allow a/m light mounting.

You can also use the Mopar cowl bracket and mount the lights to the side instead of on top so your windshield can still be lowered. Here's an image for reference from the Gladiator forum.

This would be an awesome suggestion if the 4xe didn't have a plug right there.

Damn, forgot about that. With the factory steel front bumper you can also bolt them directly to the bumper like I did on my Gladiator. Don't mind the mud, had just got back from trail riding.

Don't forget to add @Diode Dynamics to your list. Here is a simple comparison vid. I mounted mine on top of the bumper in the front and I built a custom holder for the rears. The front are fogs, and the rear are spots. Will add pics of placement as soon as I dig them up.

The next vid shows installation location and ease of installation

This final pic shows location of the rears

Not sure if they’re worth a damn, but there’s these things.

That is the out of the box type of thought I appreciate. I'll have to look into those to see how silly they are.

That is probably very similar to what I will end up with. This will work for 90% of what I want. However, my friends like to do Moab Rim in the dark and I may need more robust.

^^^That last one the SS5 kit would not be my choice other than to satisfy an OCD need of mine to keep everything under one brand.

I'd actually prefer some LP9's up front, but the lights below would do nicely

Hey @ChadP,

Baja Designs has a handful of great aftermarket light options for your vehicle. The key benefit of running our brand vs our competitors is the flexibility to different lenses colors and driving patterns. If you are interested in changing these after purchase we sell replacement lenses to do so under our Uservice program. In addition to this, we have a Lifetime warranty on all of our lighting products with valid proof of purchase. This key fact is what most people find very useful. In addition to these, we are one of the few lighting companies that have a 5000k Kelvin rating so the light being illuminated will not start to strain your eyesight while driving extensively at night and is fully waterproof with our IP69K moisture blocking rating. Below are all of the options we have for that vehicle if you would like to see what we offer. If you have any questions feel free to reach out via email. [email protected]
