Where do you mount your off road lighting?

Just wondering where you prefer to mount your off-road lights..."A" pillar, front bumper or roof.
I have them on the bumper on my old 1984 Cherokee Chief (and they work well) but I'm thinking about putting them on the "A" pillar on the Rubicon.

In addition to that...what are the favorite lights of the day...lol. I'm leaning toward KC LED's but still have not decided on a particular model of light.

Just looking for opinions...
