Sometimes, when I am going up a hill (mostly) if the Jeep holds a gear for a bit longer than normal, it seems almost like the transmission disengages for a split second before shifting into the next gear. Its not smooth when this happens and it doesnt happen all the time. Has anyone else experienced this? I wish I could explain it better. I have found it hard to reproduce. My wife says hers has done it maybe once or twice but of course we do not drive the same either. LOL

Do you think plugging in a scanner it might show a code? Depending on how many miles you have it maybe a fluid and filter change as a precautionary measure.

There are node codes. As for the fluid, I have under 23k on her.
