I am looking for a bidirectional OBD2 scanner for the Wrangler V6 and 392. So far none of the brands I have checked, Annova, Foxwell, Autel, Thinkcar show that they support Jeep. A few listed Chrysler and Dodge which I think should work. I have sent out some support question but no replies. Anyone using one that the bidirectional capabilities work?
Thanks.

Agree w/ ^^^^. What are you looking to do? JScan + Linker MC+ + Autel 12+8 cable will give you bidirectional reading/programming abilities.

What functions are you seeking specifically?

I would like to do a baseline test saving live stream data. I would also like like to activate/de-activate devices for testing. I would also like it to be able to test injectors and coils. Key programmer would be a plus. Except for key programming I have this capability with my 496 boat engine. Since most of it is computer driven I need a computer to diagnose, troubleshoot. Thanks

I think the Chrysler tools should work.

Check out/search "South Main Auto" and "Pine Hollow Auto Diagnostics" on YouTube.
They are both wizards with bi-directional scanners and have many videos using multiple tools on Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep.

They are pros though, with expensive tools.

But, Ivan at Pine Hollow Auto Diagnostics sometimes has videos of tool reviews and econo/DIY recommendations.
