We have similar (but not exactly the same) wheels. Nice setup! Did you lose your fog lights with the bumper / winch setup?
Thanks!

I did lose the fogs. Like everything else for the JL the bumper I wanted was on backorder till who knows when. I got impatient and ordered my second choice. Will eventually add some aux lighting.

Hey guys.

One of the forum members is bringing his JL to my house here in Kernersville on Saturday. We're going to be installing a spacer lift, Rubicon springs, and 35's for him. He's going to be here about lunch time, so we should be finishing up about 6 or so.

I wanted to extend an invite to anyone free to come by and hang out while we do this. I'll grill some burgers and have a cooler of beer on standby.

Let me know if you're interested and will be coming so I don't buy 15 burgers for 2 people. Lol. It would be a good opportunity to meet face to face.

Thanks!

I would love to but am heading down to south GA for opening day of dove season. Maybe next time. Look forward to meeting you.

Man, that is really cool of you to invite everyone! Wish I could make it...my wife works most weekends and our little girl has a party to go to...plus, while she is entertaining...we'd probably do a good job of slowing down the project :)

Have a good one

I'm sure we'll all get together eventually. There's a growing pains side to getting a bunch of people together. I don't think you'd slow this project down. This is about as straightforward as it gets, really. I don't have to do any welding. They're all just big Legos, in my mind. Lol.

Saying hello from the Triangle! All stock for now, but then again I did just take delivery on Wednesday. :) Switched out the hardtop for soft yesterday and have been playing with all the modes. Though it may not be the most popular, I think safari is my favorite!

I'm currently in King visiting my SO's mom, so I'm gonna try to check out Yadkin Island Park that @UNC Rubicon recommended above.

Glad to meet y'all!

@Sangiuolo11

Got Guy’s lift installed. Rubicon suspension with a 2.5” rough country lift. It turned out really nice with 35x12.50’s.

Took his sport wheels and tires and threw them on the WK. didn’t need new tires, but ... why not. They fit great.

Where did you get your RK lift? Did you install it or did you have a shop do it?
I installed it myself and ordered it from Northridge I believe. Pretty simple install, just a ton of measurements and checking. And re-tightening.

Nice. I’m starting with a RC 2.5 spacer lift just to hold the place before I do a 3.5 X-factor. Once my tires get here, it goes on.

Uh...more red? :)

Yeah...no one has accused me of being funny, but that doesn't stop me from trying!
So…I was wrong… clay made it orange! Who knew!

We made a last minute call on Labor Day morning to take a run over to Uwharrie and were able to get there a little after 8. Save for one really nice couple in a Taco and a few ATV’s, no one else was stirring. I wouldn’t say it was soaked, but the evening showers from Thursday-Sunday left the trails wet…mostly normal clay/mud, but some gooey sections for sure.

We did a loop from Wolf Den through Falls Dam up a section of Dicky Bell (not the hill climb), to Rocky Mtn., then to Slab Pile and fishing up back at Wolf Den…we’re not experts, so none of the higher level stuff. My wife drove a little and rock’d it out! She is fearless and seemingly more so when I’m driving…go up that ledge, let’s go over the bigger rock…that doesn’t looks too slick…Fortunately, the Jeep more than made up for my skill level.

My Girls and I had a good time, no damage, didn’t get stuck and left with a fun story…that and an unbelievable amount of clay under and seemingly in every crevice of the Jeep!
