I went with the LOD destroyer with the tire carrier and third light mount initially. I love the lod bumper and tire carrier. We have been on numerous trails and the only problem I had was a squeak to start with du to adjustment of the tire carrier. I like the ability to add the other...
I ended up going with the LOD destroyer full width because of all of the extra capabilities. Got it installed just before a trip to TN last weekend. I need to do some adjusting on it because it a a little rattle on the trail but so far it is solid. I can’t wait to get some of the accessories...
We average 17 after a 3.5” lift and 37”ko2’s the are a little smaller and lighter than some 37’s but still wheel good. As far as in town it is closer to 15. The highway would be better if I could keep it out of 80 mph but I can’t do that so it not as good as it could be.
Well I went ahead and just went with the Destroyer full width. With horizontal hi lift mounts camera relocation, standard tag relocation and light. Couldn’t pass on10% off and the flexibility. It looks good enough with the extra flexibility over the warn
I haven’t ever seen or heard of LOD until this weekend as I was doing some research for a new rear bumper and tire carrier. I have seen the Warn elite series and liked the look and style. However when I stumbled across LOD it looks as they are more versatile and have more options. What are the...
I went with a 3.5” metal cloak game changer. 37” ko2’s. And have driven it all over the place and love it. We recently took a trip to New Orleans and still drove the Jeep and as long as I maintained less than 75 the millage only took about 1.5 mpg hit from stock. Now if you try to run 80 it took...
Measured the Jeep and at its tallest it is 79” that is with 37” KO2’s they measured out at 36 1/8 with them at 30 lbs. it has a clearance of 24 1”4 inch from the ground to the metal cloak skid plates. I hope this help you.
We just put 37’s on our jl with a 3.5 in game changer and love it. Have been all over the place with the 3.5” game changer including a trip to New Orleans from nc on the highway and no problems at all. Rides like it did stock
Started my rock light install. Got the controller and the grill leds installed. Got to figure out where to put the rock lights. I bought an 8 pack of infinite off-road rock light and debating on putting 2 in each wheel Or one in each wheel and two on the sides.
So far the lift has been great on the highway. We have put a little over 500 miles on the highway since the install. It is a little stiffer over the small bumps but bigger ones are softer.
It ended up being about 4” in the rear and 4.25” in the front. The front has a plastic bumper and the...
They are stock 33” right this second waiting on the new wheels to get in but had the time available to do the lift. I was a little worried about it looking small. The new wheels and tires will be 37”s. I didn’t get the 6 packs went with the rock sports. They drive pretty well but only have...
All I know is the cheap electric grinder and burr didn’t do anything. I borrowed my. Buddies Mac with their carbide burr and it moved way faster through it. It will still take a while just three times as fast with better stuff. Good luck with putting it on with your son it should be fun and will...
Make sure you have a good die grinder for the track bar bracket or it will take forever to clearance it enough to get the front track bar to seat. I had an electric one to start with and stopped to go get an air one from a buddy. It was taking so long.
It is a metal cloak 3.5” game changer. It ended up with a little over 4”. Even with the skids as well. I did at my buddies and it took about 8.5-9 hours. I have never put a lift on my self until this one. The forum convinced me that I could do it my self and save enough for skids.
