Just went in for my 3rd (and final) Jeep Wave oil change.
7 months, 15K.

There was a slight delay waiting for the Pennzoil Ultra to arrive from a national auto supply chain.

The oil tech said they haven't been able to get MOPAR oil for a long time. Backordered.

Just FYI.

Since I'm a Pennzoil man, that was fine with me and that’s what will be in it every 5K from now on, as I change it myself.

No way Mopar produces their own oil. Its re-branded something else from a major oil company. Most likely Penz anyway.
Agreed. Just surprised they told me the truth, but its a small town, so as a general rule people are decent.

I heard several months ago that Mopar oil filters would be hard to get this winter due to shortages. I stocked up on a few just in case. My Jeep dealer uses and sells Pennzoil (not Mopar oil), so I bought about 12 bottles just to keep around in case.
