Am I missing something here—apparently my headlights have wipers??? Looks like either mine are invisible or missing… At least according to the settings in the Jeep. Lol.

Some states mandate having headlights on when you're using wipers.

This just allows you to automatically turn on headlights when the wipers are on.
Yes, I’m just laughing at the way it’s worded on here though making it seem like there should be little wipers on my headlights like my old vehicle had. Haha

You may have it backwards, I think your wipers may have headlights. ;);)

I like your sarcasm! Saw on another thread that you are heading to Hot Springs this weekend! Are you driving from Phoenix?

Look again. They are actually very small. Jeep spent years developing them and the little motor that powers the tiny little wipers moves at over 250,000 rpm. They call it the “hummingbird” micro-motor system. Really terrific engineering. Jeep really focused on the hummingbird even to the point of taking engineers away from the steering box design team and the ESS design team to put them on the hummingbird headlight wiper (“HHW” for those in the know) team. I gotta say, these little wipers are GAME CHANGING tech.

My dad’s Volvo had wipers on the headlights decades ago … it made a surprising difference in visibility during heavy storms.

One of my old vehicles had them and I found it did help also

Oh yeah, I remember a thread here about the motors failing, and a retrofit for a tiny manual mechanism with a knob on the dash to work the wipers. You have to remove the dash, front clip and engine to install it…
