Now that is interesting. Thanks for the link. It cost $2500 less than their full hydraulic set up but does not include a new steering box, a mechanical belt driven power steering pump, a much larger fluid reservoir, and a large fluid cooler. So, you would still be relying on the overheat prone electric steering pump. I wonder how strong the assist is, and if it changes the propensity of the electric pump to overheat.

Put a fan in front of the pump if you’re worried about it over heating. It’s not the fluid but the chipset on it. Guys in the 392 forum are rolling on 40’s just fine with the stock pump.
