I am trying to replace the stock steering stabilizer on a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon EcoDiesel (Mopar part number 68251580AE) with the newly released version (Mopar part number 68624105AA). It is my understanding that in the middle of the 2021 model year the steering stabilizer was changed and that the geometry of the fastening bolts also changed (it has the long square; picture in this thread Steering Stabilizer changed for late 2021's and on. | Jeep Wrangler Forums (JL / JLU) - Rubicon, Sahara, Sport, 4xe, 392 - JLwranglerforums.com). The old steering stabilizer bolt is Mopar part number 6510774AA but I cannot seem to find the part number for the new bolt. I have three questions:
What is the part number for the new bolt?
Do I need it to complete the installation or will the existing bolt work?
Does the new steering stabilizer include the new bolt?
Yes I know the Mopar steering stabilizer is a POS; it is going to get swapped out as part of a larger project. This is just a temporary $30 bandaid.
