  1. Stuck Hub Bearing

I put a healthy dose of the loctite brand pure nickel anti-seize on both Reids when I re-assembled. I'm genuinely curious how they could've been removed without damaging the knuckles.
  2. Stuck Hub Bearing

Mission accomplished with lots of swearing brute force and blaster. Glad I was replacing the knuckles because they looked like crap after all was said and done. Death wobble appears solved! Thanks so much for all who contributed positively
  3. Stuck Hub Bearing

4HI it is. Yes I'm pulling the old knuckles, pressing out old ball joints, pressing in new ball joints, putting on new knuckles (in that order). I have to remove the axle shafts (with hub is fine just need the F'ers out of the way) to use the ball joint press.
  4. Stuck Hub Bearing

OK so 4WD (does low or high matter?), pull shafts with slide hammer. Thanks. Yeah F Disney... Thank you for your helpful and well thought out reply. Why don't you go play in the corner? The adults are talking...
  5. Stuck Hub Bearing

I do have the 36mm impact to remove the nut. I've not heard about all the complications in the passenger side in any of the videos/posts about knuckle and ball joint replacement (that plus tie rod and draglink). I have to get the axle out of the way to use the ball joint press. Is that not...
  6. Stuck Hub Bearing

OK so puller and slide hammer plus gentle love taps on bolts seems to be the consensus. Back to autozone to get those (already got the ball joint press from them). I appreciate all the replies. I'll update tomorrow after throwing some time at it.
  7. Stuck Hub Bearing

The threads on the hub that the 13mm bolts being used as hammer targets are threaded into.
  8. Stuck Hub Bearing

Any risk of damaging the hub threads or bolts hammering on them?
  9. Stuck Hub Bearing

Every video I've watched says 3. 13mm 12 pt. Only 3 12 pt bolts showing. Was going off this video for disassembly:
  10. Stuck Hub Bearing

TL;DR I'm trying to replace my steering knuckles and ball joints but the hub bearing assembly is stuck. I'm looking for suggestions to safely remove it. Full details below. My 2020 JLU Rubicon Ecodiesel (no lift, stock wheels) with about 34k miles is having terrible death wobble. This thing has...
  11. Rubicon Wheel Part Numbers

What are the part numbers for the both the "stock" and "upgraded" wheels for a 2020 JLU Rubicon? I have seen so many variations. The Mopar part site is not very helpful with its non-color drawings either. These are the numbers I have so far: I'd greatly appreciate any clarification. Thanks!
  12. New Steering Stabilizer Bolt

Excellent. Thank you so much. Just for my own morbid curiosity what is the part number for the new bolt (I've looked all over for it and would just like to know)?
  13. New Steering Stabilizer Bolt

I am trying to replace the stock steering stabilizer on a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon EcoDiesel (Mopar part number 68251580AE) with the newly released version (Mopar part number 68624105AA). It is my understanding that in the middle of the 2021 model year the steering stabilizer was...
  14. Bikini Top Confusion

Thanks! I'll be sure to check them out.
  15. Bikini Top Confusion

Thanks for the input! Is your the Mopar "sun bonnet" or a 3rd party option?
  16. Bikini Top Confusion

I'm a bit confused about how the bikini tops work in conjunction with the softops/hardtops. I understand their purpose (reduce direct sun and wind) but not their installation. Do you just remove the hardtop/throw the softtop back then throw on the bikini top? Once you have the initial install...
  17. Any one installed these, if so how hard was install?

OK having just done this install yesterday I can offer some good info because the dealer sure as hell won't help you get the correct part. There are 2 part SKUs: 82215185AD (leather) 82215656AC (cloth; includes gap hider). There is a gotcha however; if you bought the perforated or other...
  18. Heavy-Duty Rock Slider with Step Assist by Mopar®

Yes that is the part. I ordered from the factory but didn't get them as an option. Bought and installed them myself. The basic production Rubicon rails don't have a platform to step on. The step assist, as the name implies, have a horizontal platform that sticks out enough to get a foot on IF...
  19. Ohio Sold: JLU Take-off Rubicon Rails

Replaced my production 2020 Wrangler JLU rails with with the step assist rails. Looking to unload the non step rails. Bought the jeep for wifey then she started working from home. Only 3200 street miles (no trails) at take off. Looking for local only (Cincinnati area). Mopar part 82215126...
  20. Perforated Leather Seats and Gap Hider

Thank you for the part numbers. I decided on bartact seat covers and cargo area mat for the cloth (which includes the gap hider) and just not attaching the part the goes on the back of the seats. I have a weathertech cargo mat but didn't realize how much I'd miss have the trail management tie...
