Those hang down so low and are terrible. They would be removed day 1 for me by hook or by crook
They dont seem to hang down any lower than the other style and these at least are smooth and not just a chunk of steel. I have never gotten hung up or tore off the old style these will be fine.

Yea this is way better than whats on them now. And I have yet to rip mine off wheeling across the SE and now CO and UT. 90% of that wheeling was done on stock Rubicon suspension and 35s.

Looks like Jeep went through great lengths to engineer these brackets, change the frame structure (internal attach points, locating pins, etc), and accept a ˜30lbs weight gain.

So, these must provide a clear safety benefit to do all that. I'd like to find a way to keep them, but it will interfere with my Artec belly skid. I wonder if there is a way to attach them after re-installing the belly skid.

I'm just a few weeks away from getting my 2026 - looks like it will be more work to move everything from the 2021 to 2026.

I will most likely be removing these the first time they get hung up on a rock, just like I removed the giant one on the 24 models.

May be a bitch to remove those 7 giant bolts if that thing gets bent from being smashed on rocks :)

It's worse than that. In the video he said 9 I think. 😮

7, 9, what is an additional couple of giant bolts on the front end of your Jeep.

I'll be fair to Jeep here, I was looking at the new 4Runner, Land Cruiser, Lexus GX - and ALL of those vehicles have a bolt on crash bracket behind the front tires, that you need to remove to fit 35s. Theirs are only 2 bolts (I think) and the aftermarket already came up with a blank plat to cover up the area from the removed crash plate. The Bronco also has a crash bar (on the bumper, I think).

Apparently, tire intrusion is a serious enough issue for vehicles with big tires.

We need to know if this thing can be unbolted, trimmed where it interferes and rebolted in. It looks like a really complex shape. Would love to see pictures of one removed - would give us a better idea of how to deal with the interference.
I saved the vid right where he shows the inner side. I hope this is what you were asking about.

I'm thinking that if I go to a metal fabricator and cut off one of those spacers, that I can then bolt that back up over the Artec aluminum skid.

It's kind of hard to tell not having my Jeep. My heavy "performance" fake hood is slowing the train down.

Good point, looks like I might just remove them when we get it.
