Are the LED headlights any different on the Willys than on Sahara or Rubi?

What's the size of the wheel/tire setup on these Willys editions?
255/75R17 for the standard MTs. 32 inches.

Edit: Guess I forgot to notice the second page.

I am glad the WILLYS is still available as a 2-door. The 2-doors are starting to become Unicorns. Just don't see many anymore. I think there were only two 2-door Wranglers at the Chicago Auto Show? One of the 2-doors was a Silver WILLYS. It was the star of the show to me.

Here is a little eye candy for anyone who is into silver WILLYS.

Badass Jeep. the more i see the Willys the more I am tempted to get one over a Rubicon.

Anyone have driven both and have feedback? I am considering whether i might like the higher geared T-case and diffs on the sports vs very low geared Rubis.

Then it also comes to brand new Willys for 30k vs used Rubi for ~35k?

Too many decisions..
I own a '19 JLR that is 100% stock. The Rubicon has a nice lifted looking package all from the factory. The added ride height, fenders look nice and will help off road. The higher clearance and fenders accommodate the larger Rubicon tires better. It has K02s which I LOVE. Rolls, rides and drives really smooth and quiet. Great in the wet and snow. Only negative is K02s are known to throw rocks. I highly recommend applying clear Paint Protection Film to vulnerable areas. I really love some of the options exclusive to the Rubicon and Sahara that are not offered yet on other JLs. The Rubicon's exclusive hood, high fenders added height and clearance are nice. The larger 8.4" Infotainment is nice. I LOVE the Keyless Proximity Entry door locks. The obvious and most important difference are the Rubicon's heavier duty axles, gear ratio, electronic quick disconnect sway bars, and lockers. The lower Rubicon ratios are great for crawling. The Rubicon's lower ratio also help get the larger wheels and tires moving easier. I'd also consider the 2.0T for the extra torque if larger and heavier wheels and tires are a possibility. The Rubionc gears and extra torque is something to really consider if you are remotely considering larger, heavier tires.

The WILLYS is a very nice package. I would have definitely considered one if it was available when I ordered my JLR last Feb. It has a couple of options I would definitely want no matter which JL I ordered. The LED headlights are absolutely a must have for me. Best head lights I have ever had in any vehicle. Larger brakes are a must have and honestly should be on all JLs. The most noticeable differences driving on paved roads are ride height, road feel, road noise. Much has to do with the tires. The Rubicon's KO2s area lot quieter/smoother then the Willys M/Ts. They also feel better to me overall. That might just be due to the fact I am used to them and biased? Personally I would replace the Firestone M/Ts right away with K02s because I drive mostly paved roads. That's a easy fix. The most obvious thing would be to buy some take-off K02s from a Rubicon. Replacing the M/Ts would be the very first thing I would do if I bought a Willys.

The most important things to consider is the Rubicon's drivetrain. Will you need the lower gears, lockers, heavier duty axles, electronic quick disconnect sway bars? Are you planning on lifting or leaving it stock? Are larger, heavier wheels and tires remotely on your radar? Do you think you will re-gear in the future? Do you want any of the unique options that are exclusive to the Rubicon now?

Then there is the whole NEW verses USED warranty. JEEPs are a FCA product. We all know where FCA sits on every quality survey. It's nice to have a fresh new car warranty. Personally I value a factory warranty highly. It's not the end of the world warranty wise if you find a nice used Rubicon. You can buy a extended warranty. Just make sure it's not a third party warranty. I would not consider anything other then a factory Mopar Warranty. You can always buy a discounted Mopar Extended Warranty as long as the used Rubicon has less than something like 47K miles and less than 48 months? Double check that. Depending on coverage you can always buy a Mopar Factory Extended Warranty on a used Rubicon for $1300-$2200. Just make sure whatever Rubicon you buy qualifies. Have the dealer run the VIN to make sure the Rubicon you are interested in qualifies and is not black listed for some reason. I would buy the warranty from one of the discount dealers online.

Willys definitely hits the sweet spot the line was missing for awhile. Shouldn't have to buy a Rubicon to get good AT or MT tires on a factory Jeep. Sahara is nice but no 2 door option and all configurations look to be geared for street use.

Sweet ride, enjoy it!

I’m really disappointed that the Willys doesn’t come with the distressed star decal. Had to add it to the wife’s Willys. Yes h and of course mine too.

Already put a decal on your 2021 Willys?

Actually that is my wife's 2020, and I have a 2021 on order, but yes on hers and have a few for mine too. I have the same star, and flags for vents on front fenders.
