New 2025 JLU Willys question

I’m old and my search function skills are not on point so here it goes. Have a 2025 JLU Willys. we traded our 2020 JT Rubicon to get it. I know I put 37’s on the JT and added a lift a couple years later when we took a trip to Moab. For daily driving the non lifted JT on 37’s did not rub. Can I do the same in the Willys? What backspacing should I be shopping for rims? we put the Mopar 2” lift on when we headed out to Moab. Can I expect the lift to perform the same on the willys as it did on the rubicon? I appreciate the knowledge, thank you in advance.

Yes, because the suspensions are essentially the same.

You can't put 37s on the Willys without a lift.

There are far better lift option out there than the Mopar lift.

Backspace depends on the tire width you want to use.

Gearing comes into play with 37s. The Willys will have 4.10s is it came with 285/70/17s (33s).

If you have an XR 35" tire package, then the answers change somewhat.

I can't speak for the 2025, but the 2026 I have on order has the 35" tire package and it has a 4.56 rear axle.

I can't speak for the 2025, but the 2026 I have on order has the 35" tire package and it has a 4.56 rear axle.

All XR come with 35" and 4.56 gears.
