It probably has to do with Duty Cycle.. I won't recommend which direction to go, but I will say I follow the 12v charts, accounting for engine or environment temperature and up to 2% loss whenever I do wiring.

I've got enough on my mind usually to not have the spare capacity to also worry about my wire sizes. I like to be conservative when dealing with large currents.
Sharing this 12V wire size guide

Wow, I didn't know this existed. This may work perfectly for me!
I agree! I just searched Amazon for “terminal extender” and found that. Looks to be great for a winch, arb twin, and an accessory box. I’ve got these myself and can’t wait to try it out. Mine will be here in 2 days.

The listing says it’s “bronze”. That’s not the best conductor, but I’m willing to try it out and will return if I see more than a 0.3-0.5% loss from one end to the other.

Please let me know what you find out. I'm going to try this solution before I order a custom cable to run up to the Blue Sea setup that I already installed and was hoping to use. I also need to call Warn, which I will do.

So I wired up the Amazon piece today and I think it will work perfectly. The three lugs are perfect: 1 Is my winch ground: 2 is my hood solar ground and my switch pros ground; and 3 will be for my Kraken/ARB twin ground. There aren’t much threads on the main nut holding it on, so I used blue locktite. I used the thinner one and flipped it over for my diesel. I think it looks pretty OEM. I’m completely happy.

The third pic of my positive: I couldn’t seem to get that nut that I’m pointing at totally tight; that’s where I connected my positive feed from my solar panel. I’m wondering if there’s a bolt in there that’s spinning. I got it snug with blue loctite and let it be. If you think I need to worry about it, please advise.
