Need you advice

I ordered a Jeep JL sport six weeks ago. Gave the dealership $3200. He sat on the cash for two weeks before putting through the order. So It’s actually only been four weeks. Another dealership has a Willy package for $2000 more. Serious mark up. I want to but the Willy. Should I have the dealership transfer the Wrangler, cancel the sale (Chat with Jeep. They’re still collecting parts) and get my deposit back and buy from the other dealership?Will they keep some of the deposit? That would piss me off. I’ve been told eight more weeks before I can expect delivery. I love the Willy. It has the standard manual transmission I want. Please give me input. Thanks

You'll have to talk to your dealer. In my case, I put down $1K for the deposit on a factory order JLUR. If I would have cancelled the order I would have lost my deposit. But not all dealers work that way.

I spoke to the other dealership. Even that JL wrangler is seriously delayed with no delivery date. They got people chasing their tails.
