Need wiring help!!!

Our '19 JL check engine light and auxiliary light went on, so I assumed it was the battery(again). Batteries both tested fine, then I noticed this. Not sure if a squirrel ate through or what, but it's not getting any water pressure or oil pressure at the time. Any idea if this is fixable at home, by someone who isn't so handy these days?

If you have access to both sides of the wire, splice in another wire......

I considered that, but didn't think it would be a very safe option on my wife's Jeep.

Since you don’t want to splice in new wire, that’s a chat with your parts guy to find out what loom it’s on, how much it is and what’s involved. It’s likely plug and play but could turn out to be half the engine bay loom.
Alternatively find a local auto electrician to do a repair.

If you're just replacing a couple wires, it's not hard at all. In saying that, if it is easy to just replace the harness, I would reccomend that first. A lot more expensive but won't look ghetto.

I ended up replacing the wires. The only hard part was getting to them. Finally finished. Running better but still off?.
