Hey guys,

Looking for a few tips to troubleshoot an issue I’m having with my Aux 1 switch. I have 4 Rigid DSS lights hooked into Aux 1, and have had no problems with them for over 2 years that they’ve been installed. Until Christmas night, I was wowing the family with the nuclear brightness, and turned the Jeep off without switching off the lights. I’ve done that in the past with no issue. When I started it the next morning the light on the actual switch was on, but no lights. I have other lights tied into all the other Aux switches and they all still work fine.

My first thought was the fuse (F93), but I’ve swapped it out and still no lights. I also tested the relay (K18) and that’s not the problem either.

I read on here about issues with the connection on the back of the switch itself, but anything else I should check before pulling that switch bank out?

Also, does relay K14 (Run/ACC #1) have anything to do with the Aux switch?

Jeep is a 2018 Rubicon 2.0T if that matters

Well, I have power coming from the brown/pink wire under the hood, so the problem is somewhere in the wiring running to the lights or the lights themselves.

I was able to get it fixed. Nothing to do with the Aux system. I use Posi-Lock connectors for wires so I can disconnect and reconnect them if I need to. Somehow the Posi-lock connecting the ground wire for Aux 1 was so tight, I had to use pliers to loosen it. As soon as it budged the lights came back on. Not quite sure how this happened.
