Navigation gps tablet

Which android tablets are good choices that have gps capabilities for gaia, onX, etc for mapping use?
For gps cabalities, tablet needs to be celluar capability?

I went with a Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. Perfect size (8.7" screen) and runs onX very well. Built-in GPS. For the most part, all Android tablets have GPS. It's only Apple iPads that only include GPS on their cellular-capable tablets.

You should be able to pick one up for <$100.

GPS does not require cellular capability. You can load apps and maps via WiFi or use your phone as a hotspot. Pretty much any Android tablet can run those apps, except maybe the cheapest of the cheapest.

I use a Galaxy Tab S8 for Giai, Trails Offroad, Alltrails, OnX. Works great at least across the lower Southern USA states. Been overlanding thru 20 plus of the middle USA states and Giai has worked flawless on my Tab S8.

I went with an apple ipad 13” i looked for used from Gazelle and found a good non cell one with a terrabyte of memory I specifically avoided a cell one because i alwys had spotty coverage as the cell phone gps winked off and on in my iphone i opted fpr a standalone bluetooth gps receiver from garmin instead I like having a big screen and lots of storage i built a mount for it using factorv67 and ram mounts secured itvtop and bottom
