2018 JL Rear Wiper

The first time driving in the rain with my new Wrangler JL my rear wiper worked for about a half hour then locked up and does not work at all now. Has anyone had this issue? I did read other jeep have had this problem and any idea what the fix is?

I did get it too work by kind of forcing it but if I have this trouble again I'll take it in and get the gear mechanism replaced. Thanks
