The 392 is no different in capability, except the added weight hurts and the added power doesn’t help in practical capability- trails or on road driving. And gets worse mpg.

These always turns into a 2 door can do everything better thread.

Capable of getting over obstacles best doesn't automatically equate to the most capable Jeep. Mine needs to be able to get me, family and my stuff there or it's not the most capable to me. Hauling gear and towing are also involved in what we do with our Jeeps and not just crawling over rocks. Don't forget those who have kids that they also bring on rides.

Just my opinion on what capable means to me.

true story. It also helps when towing. The 3.6 struggles when towing over mountain passes with a 2000 pound trailer. The 392 does not suffer the same problems.
