Went to the local gas station for a quick touch less car wash this morning when the temps were in the 40s. A little later, my wife noticed the spare tire cover was cracked! What the hell @mopar. @JeepCares

It's an Omen. Take that thing off, and expose the spare tire. It looks more rugged exposed.

You really do not need a tire cover unless you just want to slick look of it.

The frequency at which you rotate all five of your tires will be enough to prevent it from cracking/wasting away.

One tip to tire cover enthusiasts. Stay away from vinyl covers and look for canvas covers. Canvas is breathable and more durable over time.
