Hey guys!

Took ole Betty wheeling today and ripped the rear driveshaft slip boot. Anyone know if the JK boot slip will work? Or if its ok to roll without?

Thanks!

I'd say cut the rest of that off of there, lube up the splines lightly and roll with it. Aftermarket driveshafts don't have the boots on them.

I did manage to rip the cover and weights off the rear drive shaft. I know long term not good, but is it ok for a weekend of hard wheeling and 100 mile drive home?

Sounds like you will be ok for now. I ended up denting it so hard it couldn't be fixed so I ended up having to buy a new drive shaft. Go to Adams if you need a new one, 100 dollars cheaper than the OEM parts and a helluva upgrade. I freaking love the new one!

Did you measure yours to order? I want to go up in lift size from a 2.5 to 3.5 or 4. Wonder if they can size it such that it will still work.
