Mopar rear gate hinge reinforcement question

Hey everyone,

I just got a new rubicon with the XR package, I noticed a hole on the hinge reinforcement, anyone know what it’s for is it to mount accessories?

I use it for my flag when needed. You could use it for anything.

If the hole is large enough, you can use the hole to mount an antenna (GMRS or CB) in that hole.

Thanks, I figured it was for mounting stuff, was wondering if there are any accessories mode to specifically mount there. When I saw it I thought it would be good to mount a flag there.

Correct, it is for either an antenna or trail flag, but may be useful for other things as well.
