Hi

does anyone know the order number of the rubber plug that goes into the charge port on the jeep to prevent dust/water to enter the port?

I can’t find it on the mopar site.

thanks!

So far I could not find a part number for just the plug, only for the whole door assembly. But someone is selling one on Etsy for $22. I think it is the same person who posted on this forum a few days ago.

Lmao I'd buy the Etsy one.
Thanks! Yeah at $75 for retail customers Duct tape strats to look like an attractive alternative to a dust cap.
I already ordered the Etsy cap that sticks to the charger port door as I forget to put the cap on 8 out of ten times.
I wanted a back up cap in case I lose the original while driving off road or on Snowy wet and salted roads as I don’t want dirt and salt to get into the charge port contacts.

Got the etsy plug (Matts3DPrintedStore) that you stick to the charging door for $22 today. I'm quite happy with it. I got no rebate or anything from the seller so this is my short time review.
The plug is a soft rubber like material but still quite thick. It fits perfectly and plugs up the entire connector just as good as the factory plug. I moved the sticker with the warning a bit downward and out oof the way so that it remains readable when the plug velcro sticker is stuck to the door. I put the plug in, removed the foil from the velcro and close the door firmly and the plug was stuck un the perfect location. The door closes easily. When I forget to close the charger door it closes due to the wind as soon as I drive over 20 mph or so. It closes the door and pushes the plug deep enough into the charger that it seems it seals it off against dirt and dust. Overall I'm very happy with the plug. We will see how it holds up in 100F and 10F during the next years but I'm quite confident it will be ok.
