No they do not have to be removed for tire replacement.

Different chains have different equipment, different policies, and different employee talent. I prefer to pop a cold one, break out the quarter inch ratchet, kick some tunes, and remove them myself. Admittedly, I’ve only done this twice, but my strategy remains unchanged.

Have any balance issues, or do you install then get them balanced ?

Reinstalled the rings at home in the garage after DT mounted and balanced.. Zero balance issues, zero stripped threads, zero scratches, zero “oops.”

DT (AT) removed mine, fortunately they didn’t charge extra, but some reportedly have been. Jeep needs a written policy for us to show tire shops and settle this ongoing issue …… balance issues, or did you reinstall first ?

I took mine off to get painted and drove around for a week without them. No balance issues

When they patched a tire for me, they removed mine. But I think its more to do with them being powder coated and I told them to be careful so they didnt have to pay to redo it lol.

Did not remove mine when I took the 33" bfg's off and put on the 37" falcon's. No oops no scratches no issues

Not sure on "Beauty Rings"

Beadlocks, YES, you must remove the Beadlock ring in order to install tires, even at Discount Tire.

I would take my wheels off and remove the Beadlock ring, then take my wheels and tires down to Discount Tire where they removed the ties and install a new set of BFG KMs. I would pick up and take them home and install my Beadlock rings!

Why? ANY Tire shop should say NO to removing/installing Beadlock rings. They have no idea of the torque required to seat the bolts properly and the ring itself against the wheel. When was the last time the shop calibrated the torque wrench, IF EVER?

You need to know what you are doing and the use of a torque wrench before you jump into running them on the street and trail.

If you are not sure of how to attach that ring and torque the bolts, then just say NO to running them...

I have mounted A LOT of tires on mopar beadlock capable wheels and have done it both ways but with the trim ring on you REALY risk damaging the tire bead during removal and or install. I would highly recommend removal of the ring to prevent tire damage.

Not your universal policy as it should be unless changed in the last year as mine were removed without request.
