Didn’t sound like it was going to be a quick fix. I am told the seal is back ordered and they are talking with Jeep to find out if they should go after market on the part but cannot do that with out there permission. It’s a bummer but thankfully my company is letting me use the work truck for now for personal use for a couple weeks. If it’s longer I’ll have to get a case going with Jeepcare to try and get a rental. It is what it is. Atleast it made it home and we got to do the whole trip!

Sorry to hear that...why aren't they putting you in a rental tho? ??

rentals are covered with the warranty so that shouldn’t be a problem if it comes to that.

I believe they have to wait for Jeep to make the call on the rental as the dealer doesn’t cover that cost. But I am not sure.

mine is back at the dealer. Leak is back. I fear I have the same problem as yours.

I did get a horrible mini van rental. Ewww. Gotta exchange it. Ha

Oh man. That sucks! Hopefully you get better information than I have so far. I will be calling this afternoon to see if there is an update on timing for the part. Fingers crossed!

I’d say it’s just a failure in the seal it’s self. Could be a bad batch or two out there

nice! There weren’t any available locally so they ordered it. He said 5-7 days but maybe I’ll get lucky and it’ll be quicker.

they stuck me in a rental challenger. This thing is a land yacht. Makes the Jeep feel small lol.

Seemed to be alot of interest in Death Valley. Spring is a great time for that trip if we want to look at that? Or who may have another idea?

Death Valley is def on my list! I got that Burr Trail and the Lake Powell Ferry crossing on my list too!
