My Jeep is in the dealer. First thought is transfer case vent valve released pressure and the oil is running down the trans but I don’t believe it because I am a manual transmission and the leak is coming from the bell housing internally

Not sure if you saw my post since we posted at the same time but mine was apparently coming from the upper oil pan and pooling up on the bottom where the transmission and engine meet.

Oh and if any of you guys have that annoying passenger seat squeak there’s an updated rail available. They replaced that too.

Just got the call on my wrangler. Looks like I’m out of my Jeep until Jeep can find a rear main seal. Bummer. Hopefully it won’t be to long.

Oh no! That sucks. I’m about to go check mine and see if they were right and it’s not leaking again.

I hope the parts are available and you get it back quick!

Didn’t sound like it was going to be a quick fix. I am told the seal is back ordered and they are talking with Jeep to find out if they should go after market on the part but cannot do that with out there permission. It’s a bummer but thankfully my company is letting me use the work truck for now for personal use for a couple weeks. If it’s longer I’ll have to get a case going with Jeepcare to try and get a rental. It is what it is. Atleast it made it home and we got to do the whole trip!
