You know about the weather that time of year? Extremely hot plus monsoons are typical.

Yeah I have gone the last 2 years at the same time. 100 degree days and after a long day of trail riding you get to jump in the hotel pool.

yeah living in Minnesota is great!
however when I get to Moab each year I finally get a sunburn/tan. it helps melt the frostbite from long winters.
