When I took delivery of my MOAB on January 31st, the selling dealer had 3 or 4 units on the lot or arriving shortly, and other local showrooms appeared to be similarly situated. Now, across the 12 closest dealers, there are only 16 MOABs total. And...some of those are "in transit". This raises the question: has production been scaled back, or are they moving that quickly? I initially suspected the Willys 392, with its $10K lower price point, would cannibalize MOAB sales. On that note, is the Willys 392 essentially Jeep’s version of vaporware?
If I were Jeep, and MOABs were moving quickly at $80K, I wouldn't rush to bring it's $70K sibling to the market either.
