Hi. I read an unrelated piece about Tom Hanks selling an older Toyota Land Cruiser. He had it all tricked out, and had installed Porsche seats for added comfort. Now I know there are very few similarities between a classic Land Cruiser and JL, but has anyone thought about repurposing a seat from a luxury vehicle? My uncle was a big guy like myself. He had a 72’ Chevy Pick-up (new), and could not handle the bench seats and legroom in a 2 door cab. He found nice seats from a Lincoln town car and repurposed them into the Chevy. The truck rode like you were sitting on the living room sofa. Anyone modified a JL like this? I visited a shop in Temecula this last week, and they had samples of PRP race seats. Interesting set-ups, but not quite the fit I am looking for.
