Let me preface this question with the fact that technologically I'm capable to send an email! My Samsung Galaxy S9 is apparently not mirrorlink friendly with the uconnect 8.4 Nav radio.
Looking on YouTube there appears to be some type of kits to accomplish this by digging into that dash and installing said kit.
So I have two questions.
1-Has anyone done this?
2-Is there a simpler way to
accimplish this?
I would simply like to run OnXofffroad on my phone and display it in the dash unit while I'm in the back country. It can't be that difficult to go that route. Apparently my phone is not compatible to run mirrorlink in the uconnect headunit I want to avoid running it on a second device. As another possibility, maybe change to a different Android phone that is compatible with the uconnect headunit.
Anyone have any helpful direction in that area?
